It does not allow everyone to open your calendar and browse it. This setting affects only what people see when they use the Scheduling Assistant in Outlook when proposing a meeting. The IT Service Desk has a computer you can use to adjust these settings. Your changes will be stored on the Office 365 system. If you don't normally use Outlook, you can use either one just once just to adjust these settings. Your private items will still be private.

The setting recommended below will let everyone see the subject and location of the items on your calendar (instead of just the start and end times). These options are not available in Outlook on the Web or Apple's Calendar application.

You can adjust your free/busy settings using Outlook for Windows or Mac. You can delegate your calendar, so other people can manage it just like you can. You can share your calendar, so other people can open it just like they can open their own calendar. Try the Set up an online meeting using classic Outlookontheweb. If you only have a few, the easier way would be to have the users delete their cached email for that user. The first way is an easy way to make a change at one location if you have many users. Then schedule your meeting with them, pick their name from the global directory, and you will be able to view your free/busy again. If you start to type the personвЂ™s name, it will show up in your cached email list. The second way is to make a chance on the personвЂ™s end who is trying to view the other persons free/busy informaiton. Reopen Outlook and re-enable cached mode (if you need to use it). Close Outlook, Go to the users Cached data in C:>Users>User ID>App Data>Roaming>Microsoft>Outlook, then rename the Outlook Data file to Outlook-Old. First is to go the user who is showing up with no free/busy information found, then in Outlook go to File>Account Settings>Change then turn off cached mode. There are two ways I have found to fix it. I found this to be an issue with the cached email. Click Appointment to show the appointment/meeting screen. The AutoPick feature finds and selects the next available time for the attendees. Highlight AutoPick then click Required People. I did nothing different when I created that one that I didnt do to the othersвЂ¦. After selecting/entering your meeting attendees and location, click Scheduling Assistant. I just created 10 new resources and out of the 10 only 1 was able to work in that I can see the free/busy time.

What I dont get is that this doesnt happen to everyone just certain users/resources.

Solutions I have tried: Starting outlook with the /cleanfreebusy switch, tried the /cleanschedplus switch but didnt want to work (gave me some error), checked permissions on calendar, calendar is set for showing 6 months and refreshing every 15 miniutes, doenst matter what pc or user I try no one can see the free/busy info, tried recreating outlook profile of the user/resource

The legend at the bottom says it means вЂњno informationвЂќ. You can run a test e-mail auto configuration wizard. Problem: When in Outlook 2007 and trying to schedule a meeting with a user/resource I look at their free/busy time and it shows the hash marks. If you are trying to schedule a meeting in Microsoft Outlook and are using the scheduling assistant, you will add other users in your organization to the meeting but will be unable to see their free/busy statuses. Somone has to have a solution that actualy works out thereвЂ¦.I hope. Ok, I know this is a common problem and has been answered 100 times before butвЂ¦I have tried all the solutions I could find with no luck.
